Beatclap | Music Distribution SaaS Platform

A premium, Apple-inspired SaaS marketing website for Beatclap — a Spanish music distribution platform serving independent artists, managers, and labels. Built on WordPress with a fully custom theme, ACF Blocks, Bootstrap 5, and GSAP animations that rival the world's best tech product pages.

The Project

What we built and why

Beatclap is a Spanish music distribution SaaS platform — a strategic partner for independent artists, managers, and labels who want to distribute music globally across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TikTok, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, and more. Their artist roster includes Alba Molina, Ara Malikian, Carlos Jean, Rosa López, and Medina Azahara.

The brief was clear and demanding: build a SaaS marketing website that feels like an Apple product page — cinematic scroll animations, full-bleed video sections, sticky feature reveals, smooth parallax, and a dark premium aesthetic that makes the platform feel world-class. No page builders. No templates.

We built a fully custom WordPress theme from scratch using ACF Blocks as the content architecture, Bootstrap 5 as the layout grid, and GSAP as the animation engine — delivering a site where every scroll interaction is intentional and every section transition earns attention.

Design Process

How we approached it

The design direction for Beatclap was Apple.com — specifically the iPhone product pages with their sticky scroll sections, feature callout animations, and cinematic video backgrounds. The brief asked for that level of interaction quality applied to a music SaaS product.

We structured the page as a downward journey through the Beatclap platform — hero with video loop, artist social proof marquee, feature breakdown, platform architecture reveal, Apple-style sticky feature section, data analytics showcase, monetisation section, testimonials, and a final CTA. Each section was treated as its own cinematic moment rather than a standard webpage section.

The Apple-inspired sticky section — where platform features reveal one at a time as you scroll while the visual stays fixed — was the centrepiece of the build. This pattern required precise GSAP ScrollTrigger orchestration and a clean ACF Block architecture so the client could manage the feature copy and images without touching code.

Development

Build highlights

01
Apple-Style Sticky Scroll Section

Built the signature sticky feature reveal section — inspired directly by Apple's iPhone product pages — where platform features animate in one by one as the user scrolls, while the section stays pinned to the viewport. Orchestrated entirely with GSAP ScrollTrigger and custom JavaScript timing logic.

02
Fully Custom WordPress Theme

Zero page builders, zero pre-made themes. The entire Beatclap theme was built from scratch in PHP with Bootstrap 5 as the layout grid — giving complete control over every DOM element, every CSS variable, and every animation hook.

03
ACF Blocks Content Architecture

Built the entire content system using ACF Blocks — each section of the page is a registered Gutenberg block with ACF fields for copy, images, and video. The client manages all content through a clean block editor interface without any developer involvement for updates.

04
GSAP Scroll Animation System

Implemented a comprehensive GSAP animation system across every section — hero text entrances, artist marquee infinite scroll, feature card reveals, image parallax, video section transitions, and the data analytics dashboard animation. Every scroll interaction has purpose and timing.

05
Video-Heavy Performance Architecture

The site features multiple self-hosted video backgrounds including a platform demo loop and artist showcase video. We implemented poster fallbacks, lazy video loading, and WebP image conversion throughout to keep page performance high despite the media-rich layout.

06
Infinite Artist Marquee

Built a custom infinite marquee showcasing Beatclap's artist roster — Alba Molina, Ara Malikian, Carlos Jean, Rosa López, Medina Azahara, and more — with smooth CSS animation and responsive image sizing, creating immediate social proof on scroll.

Problem Solving

Challenges & solutions

01
Challenge

Replicating Apple-level scroll interactions on WordPress

The Apple product page scroll experience — pinned sections, sequential feature reveals, seamless video transitions — is typically built on custom React or Next.js stacks. Delivering the same quality on WordPress without a headless architecture was the core technical challenge.

01
Solution

GSAP ScrollTrigger with custom theme architecture

We built the custom WordPress theme specifically around GSAP's ScrollTrigger API — registering scroll-pinned sections as native PHP template parts, feeding them content from ACF Blocks, and orchestrating the animation timing in JavaScript. The result is Apple-quality scroll behaviour on a standard WordPress stack — fully editable by the client.

02
Challenge

Making a content-heavy SaaS page feel focused

Beatclap covers distribution, analytics, rights management, marketing, royalties, monetisation, and mobile apps — a large feature set that risks making the page feel overwhelming or unfocused if every section competes for attention.

02
Solution

Sequential storytelling with visual anchoring

We structured the page as a single downward narrative — each section introduces one concept, resolves it visually, then passes attention to the next. The sticky scroll section gives the feature set breathing room. Video backgrounds anchor the eye. The result is a page that covers everything without feeling cluttered.

Outcome

Results & impact

Beatclap launched with a website that competes visually with the best SaaS product pages globally — not just in the music industry. The Apple-inspired sticky scroll section has become the centrepiece of the site, earning immediate recognition from visitors and serving as the primary demonstration of what the platform does.

The ACF Blocks architecture means the Beatclap team manages all content updates independently — new artist photos, updated feature copy, and new streaming platform logos can all be changed through the block editor without any developer involvement. A premium site that stays premium without ongoing maintenance costs.

Takeaway

Final thoughts

Beatclap wanted Apple quality on WordPress. Custom theme, ACF Blocks, GSAP ScrollTrigger, and zero compromises delivered exactly that.

Beatclap is the most visually ambitious project in Webvio’s portfolio. Building Apple-level scroll interactions on WordPress — without headless, without React, without shortcuts — required a custom theme architecture designed from the ground up around GSAP. The result proves that WordPress, built correctly, can deliver world-class product page experiences. The client has full content control. The animations are pixel-perfect. The site earns attention.
